Aim & Scope:

Optimization is a peer reviewed journal that publishes papers on the latest developments in fields such as linear and nonlinear programming, variational analysis, vector and set-valued optimization. Theoretical investigations as well as numerical methods will be considered. Application-oriented papers are supposed to contain a mathematical contribution.

A special section is devoted to review papers on theory and methods in interesting areas of mathematical programming and optimization techniques.

Peer Review Policy
All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor. If found suitable for further consideration, papers are subject to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single blind and submissions can be made online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/gopt.
2013 5-year Impact Factor: 0.804 ©2014 Thomson Reuters, 2013 Journal Citation Reports®
Review times For papers submitted in 2013, the time between original submission and receiving a first decision on a paper was on average 70 days, the median time was 65 days. Production times
For papers accepted in 2013, the average time from acceptance to first online publication was 58 days, the median time was 47 days.
