  • Abstract: is presented for determining the centrifugal Stresses induced in an axisymmetric disc of variable thickness. The continuous disc is replaced by a finite number of discrete ring elements. The difference equations are formed using the equilibrium and compatibility conditions for each ring element at the interface. The set of such differential equations is then solved with suitable boundary conditions for Stress calculations.
