  • Abstract: on of spatial subharmonic gratings in photorefractive crystal with an external field applied is investigated. Both dc and ac fields are considered. The threshold value of the exciting interference pattern contrast is obtained for the spatial frequency Nondegenerate case. It is shown that an ac field is preferable for degenerate subharmonic generation.
